Streamboss Custom HTML Template

I understand the ability to edit the HTML is now there, but unlike other customizable options (like alerts or chat) with HTML options Streamboss comes up blank for anything I'd like to touch up on with the Themes.

For example I want to change font sizes, move/resize avatars, move the HP bar. Yet I don't even know where to begin when the original code isn't there for me to begin editing. A template to start working with would be nice.

Couldn't find the variables to start something either. Alert variants does have templates in the editor box when enabled. Was hoping to StreamBoss be the same. Subscribing to this idea to get notified :D

i tried a simple thing to see what was going on in the JS and it did nothing when i added this to the "bossDamaged" event:

it just doesn't do anything, and i tested ALL alerts through the alert box to see they were working as tests, the DO work with Custom Disabled on the StreamBoss, but with any custom at all there is nothing happening, otherwise It should have told me [object Object] in the alert, null, NaN, something... even tried obj, name; no results; as well obj[0] gave no results.

also tried to add the original scripts back in via the HTML section, but it doesn't allow SCRIPT tags inside it. refuses to actually save when you click the save button and you have to reload the page if you tried to include SCRIPT tag inside the HTML section.

If we are expected to use PubSub ourselves to get these events.. then what do we need StreamLabs or the StreamBoss for?

I am expecting this to just be an early bug that isn't returning the data either in alert or console, but since this suggestion is here please DO include what sort of details obj.detail will give so people can prepare their scripts for them to make SteamBoss the premiere "Boss" game for use on Twitch.

Keep the features coming, I can't wait to see what comes next from the Labs.. get it.. Stream...Labs. Kappa

Considering the "eliminated" and "punished" text is often covered up by the HP values, this is a must. Either fix your code to "fit" correctly, or give us the template to fix it ourselves please.

I entered https://ideas.streamlabs.com/ideas/SL-I-1240 so we don't need to do the custom html/css/js path since that really shouldn't be necessary for a tweak.  If we were going to go that far, then there shouldn't be a font face option.

shipped version still doesn't do anything.

got alert(obj.details); to work only on bossload, but bossDamaged and bossKilleddoesnt do anything unless you watch the console. cant get it to alert either obj.details.current_health nor will it alert obj.details.boss.current_health.

also need "templates" for the data, nor this whatever.. something  simple like {damageType} to tell what happened, {name} and {amount}. the console doesn't even update when an event occurs unless you close and reopen it which means console.log(obj.details) isnt updating properly in the custom JS.

ok, after whatever was fixed with the test buttons, the custom HTML/CSS/JS all seem to be working now.

the events are all easy to understand and the obj.details.message is easy read, only the obj.details.message.text may need to be changed for the test buttons to show something other than "Placeholder message" to let devs know exactly what sort of text the boss is getting?

will it be the name of the "attacker" or "healer" will it be the type event that it causing the attack to trigger (bit, donation, sub, follow)?

Another great set of fixes in about 1 weeks time. Man if the banks could fix their errors in that amount of time the world would work a LOT smoother!

So starting from scratch. A friend of mine got it to work. The variables are set in the API and cannot be edited, BUT what you're supposed to call is inside the JS function of the boss being damamged, you can set your progress bar to react with '$('#user_hp_cont progress').val(obj.detail.boss.current_health); });' line of code under the boss current health line.

That's as far as I got. I've seen it work, but with custom CSS/HTML bars, it's very hard to get it all to work properly.
