As others have said, we have support for multiple cryptocurrencies over at https://1upcoin.com and are open to adding new features/services. So you could start accepting different cryptocurrencies today with 1upCoin and if StreamLabs brings out their own then great. But in the meantime you can do it now with little setup!

This feature would be awesome! Thinking about few currencies for this, but definitely Groestlcoin would be best option with its mobile and samurai wallets, instant and almost free!

This is an absolutely fantastic idea, crypto is here to stay. Choose a cryptocurrency with transactions that are extremely fast (<30 seconds) and low transaction fees.

There are alot of emerging a fully regulated Esports cryptocurrencies like UKG aka UnikoinGold backed by Mark Cuban and WAX by Opskins as well as more coming up and allow Twitch to interface with such tokens will grow Esports tremendously. Also we are seeing browser implemented crypto with BAT with the Brave browser. I believe crypto is the future and the sooner you add it to Twitch the easier payments will be with no risk of bank fraud or charge backs, and other issues we get from people who send money and cancel later.

UnikoinGold would be perfect for this.

Crypto donations would be awesome! I think the best crypto for this would be Nano, as it is a fee-less, instant transaction. Stellar is also a good option but not as good as Nano.

Personally I'd like to see fast cheap coins that have mobile wallets so they allow users to donate via their mobile devices. Coins such as Groestlcoin would be ideal as users can also mine their own donations

Groestlcoin would be a good fit for this. It's fast, low fee, asic resistant meaning gamers can mine, has mobile wallets for ease of use and is fully tested. 

Bitcoin etc are too slow for notifications as you wouldn't want the alert being too late. Nano would be a good fit too but it's too new and unproven to be working. It also has no wallets yet for mobile devices yet

Groestlcoin please. Lightning quick transactions, mobile wallets across all platforms (iOS, oSX, Android, Blackberry) making is dead easy to make and receive payments, cheap transaction fees and great to mine. Perfect for gamers!

Groestlcoin is very promising and I particularly like how it is ASIC resistant so actual gamers can mine, it's a good fit for streamlabs. However, I think that the future is mineless so I'd personally go with Nano when they get proper mobile wallets. I think it would be ideal to support multiple cryptos :)

This would fit our community and I would recommend NANO. Just a currency and it's instant and no fees so all of the donations could actually go to the streamer. It's also scaleable to work even with small amounts.

I'd suggest a coin that you can mine with a GPU. Then gamers can effectively mine the tips that they want to give, rather than using their paypal accounts!

Nano is definitely designed for this exact thing.  Its the only instant and feeless cryptocurrency out there, which is pretty much a requirement for tipping.  Imagine paying a huge fee for just trying to tip $1, or waiting hours for the tip to go through.... Nano doesn't have those problems.  

I vote for Groestlcoin or Verge. Transaction fees are low and very fast speeds. All around great for this.

Crypto would be great, but due to transaction times and especially fees, Nano (XRB) is nearly instant and entirely free (as in you send $1, they get $1, nothing shaved off). This is functionally the best crypto currency to actually use as currency .

Great idea. Bitcoin has slow transactions time, however it should be included just because its Bitcoin. Coins like Litecoin, Ethereum, and XRP/XLM should be included for their much more faster transaction times and substantially lower fees.

GRS is clearly a great fit for this. It's a little under the hood but has a big community, extremely low fees (really, who cares about 0,0001$ fees) and working wallets for all devices. An exchange has been hacked recently, nano is probably not save for implementation yet.

Litecoin and Ethereum have a lot of adoption and also fees <,1$ so I'd suggest to add them as well.

Groestlcoin is great for this, that's a great suggestion!!

I would suggest TurtleCoin, it's easy to mine with regular hardware and cheap to get a ton of. Plus the community is top notch with a lot of dedicated devs.

I think this is an excellent idea.

In my opinion, a set of currencies should be selected which:

1: allow cheap and fast transactions, and

2: are decentralized and mineable with GPUs that gamers who watch Twitch would likely have.

Toward this end, Groestlcoin and Vertcoin would be good options, and Gridcoin would be an interesting option as well.

I have reached out to stream labs about this and mentioned the methods to do this along with a currency willing to give them a rewards system for using but still no response about it.  I would love to assist in this project.

I would personally love to see FlashCoin added. They are at flashcoin.io they are a community coin with fast super cheap costs less then a penny to use. I have quite a few users that use it now and would love to make it easy for them!
