Cloudbot: sounds attached to commands

Standalone Streamlabs chatbot allows sound files to be attached to existing commands, and I LOVE this feature.  When I shoutout a hosting streamer, it plays a sound.  When I die, my chat can play !youdied - lots of things like that.  I know you can somewhat do this with redemption, but it would be a much better implementation if sound files could simply be attached to commands.

As someone who is trying to move away from Chatbot and over to Cloudbot, this is currently the only thing keeping me from doing so. I use an audio cue command as part of my stream, both to start and as a cue when subscribers enter chat, and I do not currently see a way to replicate this functionality automatically in Cloudbot.

Please enable a way for us to set a shortcut using Cloudbot so our users can just type the command "!soundeffect" instead of "!redeem soundeffect" - If you can't do that, then there should be a way to migrate all Cloudbot commands, timers, and loyalty points to the offline Chatbot so we can make it easier on our chat.

This is definitely needed. Redeeming sound effects through the Loyalty Store is clunky and awkward. You already have a lot of the stand-alone program's features built into Cloudbot to this would be a clear next step.

I would love to see this feature as well. It is the only thing that is keeping me from running Cloudbot. It has a very convoluted way of adding sounds effects to the bot. Requiring an image and the !redeem prefix to be added to play the sound. Chatbot (the stand-alone program ) makes this so simple by allowing you to create a command and then add a sound to it. Then the sound is played when the single command is executed in the chat.

    It's already implemented.

Use the Streamlabs extention, and add sound and Gifs to the reedem options.

I would love to be able to have my viewers use loyalty points for SFX

I achieve this by adding sound effect items to the Cloudbot Shop. Instead of typing !youdied , viewers can simply redeem the sound effect "youdied" by typing "!redeem youdied" and it will do the same effect, with a gif playing on the screen as well as the sound effect.

Maybe you're misunderstanding me - I want it integrated into the bot, but Cloudbot, not the standalone.  The exact implementation that exists in the standalone bot would be perfect in my opinion - it was intuitive and easy for bot streamer and chat.  Currently, for chat to interact with my stream in this way I'd have to make a specific point redemption, add a picture (for some reason) and then they redeem it via the !redeem (insert name here) command.

The biggest downside to this as far as I'm concerned (ignoring the clunky implementation that exists currently), is that you can't attach sounds to existing commands (see my above referenced !shoutout command).  I often want a sound to trigger when a chatbot command is used, but since the move to cloudbot do not have that option.

Additionally, I have both components and my overlay taken up by Face Masks, Amazon Blacksmith, and the Streamlabs Bits extension.  I find viewers rarely use panels.  Adding more in seems counter intuitive to the ease-of-use for viewers (and thus viewer retention) I'd like to see.

Would you mind elaborating on "better implementation" to help your suggestion potentially receive more upvotes? I ask because you mentioned that the standalone Streamlabs chatbox (Cloudbot) client already has this feature available and am curious what benefits it might offer to integrate it directly with SLOBS. Also, part of the reason this feature is integrated with the bot specifically is because to read commands sent in chat, the the bot needs to communicate with the Twitch chat API in order to know when a command is sent in chat and trigger the response command set to playing a sound.

There are currently alternative methods of achieving this, specifically thru various Twitch Extensions. I know of at least two that currently offer this feature, but feel free to message me if you have trouble finding them under Twitch Extensions.

Yes, I want this. I also want the option to add gifs displayed on stream whenever chat types something like this in chat!
